Making an Offer
When you find a home you really want you’ll know it! and that’s the time to make a written offer. My job, as your Realtor is to ensure you get that home at the best price and terms possible.
The first step is preparing the Offer. This offer is a written document that I will present to the seller’s agent that basically states the price you’re offering, as well as any terms and conditions. The offer once it’s signed by the seller becomes a bi-lateral contract.
All homes are different and all negotiations are different, that’s why having an experienced Realtor working on your behalf is so important.
Don’t worry. I know how to prepare a winning offer and get you the property at the lowest possible price. In fact, I look after your interests throughout the entire process.
How the Process Works
When you decide to make an offer on a home, here’s what typically happens:
We will sit down and come up with a price, terms and a strategy that works for you.
I’ll prepare the written offer and immediately present it to the seller’s agent along with your mortgage pre-approval or proof of funds.
I’ll communicate with you throughout the entire process until we have an accepted offer.
Once the seller accepts the offer, I’ll be working with you closely to set up the home inspection, appraisal, survey and any information the title company or mortgage company might need.
