The Home Shopping Process
As your Realtor, I want to make your home search as stress free and pleasant as possible. I do that in a number of ways.
I will only recommend homes or condos that match your criteria and are within your budget.
I will set you up a property search for you based on your criteria, so that you’’ll be immediately notified when new listings hit the market.
I will work around your schedule and show you homes at your convenience.
When possible I will preview the homes that we are scheduled to see, so you don’t waste your time looking at homes that aren’t right for you.
I will provide you information on the neighborhood, so you’ll know what area is like in terms of lifestyle, safety, schools and home values.
When you find a property you like, I will give you my honest opinion the good and the bad.
As your real estate agent, I’m committed to getting you into the right home, at the right price in the right neighborhood.
What to Look for when Viewing a Property
Here are a few things to consider when viewing homes.
Does the home have your “needs” (example number of bedrooms, baths, size, etc.)
Does the home have any of your “wants” (example, large backyard, pool, office, etc.)
Is the home in good condition? (Has the home been kept up and well maintained.)
Will the home need any major repairs in the near future? ( example roof, air conditioning this effects the home value)
Is there anything about the home you don’t like? (Can that be changed with renovation now or in the future and what will that cost?)
When purchasing a home the neighborhood you choose is important. Are the surrounding homes well-kept? Do you feel safe and secure? Does the neighborhood meet your needs? (example easy access to shopping, schools, parks and commuting and things that are important to you.)
Viewing properties should be fun and exciting, it’s my job to make your home search as stress free as possible. If you have any questions or if you are ready to get started just call or email me.
